When you see two people who are obviously meant for each other, watch how their personalities mesh together, observe their caring and devotion, you can’t help but wonder how they met. Were they classmates in school? Did they grow up in the same community? Did they meet online? A multitude of scenarios from which to choose, but sometimes it comes from a totally unexpected encounter.

While Neil was working at Suntrust Bank, Jennifer came in to open an account and they struck up a conversation. The following day, Neil called Jennifer to inform her that he’d be transferring banks and to give her updated contract information.  Just another typical day at the office…… until Jennifer texted him:
Good luck with the new job!

That single text ultimately led to a relationship, and the couple plan to marry at The Arbors this Fall.

While they are quite indecisive as a couple when it comes to everyday decisions such as what movie to watch and where to eat, I think they’d both quickly agree they were destined to be together!

What was once one of the most closely guarded secrets of the Confederacy was the destination for a unique outdoor engagement session nestled in the woods of North Carolina.
Located in Lincolnton, NC, The Laboratory Mill has a long history dating back to the early 1800s. First used as a cotton mill, it was later used by the CSA to manufacture drugs for the troops from indigenous plants. It later returned to use as a cotton mill, then, many years later, lovingly renovated into a secluded romantic get-away.

It was here, along the banks of the old cotton mill spillway, Jordan, Cody and I built a fire and settled in for an engagement session like no other.
Jordan and Cody both love the outdoors, so they were right at home in this picturesque setting.  The twilight settled in, the stars began their faint glow, and this couple did what comes natural — enjoy each others company and the love they share.

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. ~ Bruce Lee
